The Target Retrieval System (TRS) from SSI is critical for indoor shooting ranges.
The TRS is a wire-guided static target on a motor-propelled carriage that travels along a suspended rail.
The TRS unit has soft start/stop to reduce shock and can stop within one inch of programmed position at speeds up to 11 fps. The rail sections are capable of withstanding ricochet without critical damage, and individual sections can be replaced without removing the entire track.
the control is via a switch (forward and reverse) on the wall with an optional wall controller. With this controller you can enter a set distance, or “man charging.” This would simulate the target coming towards you.
