SSI’s Stationary Armor Target (SAT) is a tank Frontal target lifter that is designed to meet the Army Targetry System (ATS) Segment I and 2 standards. The mechanism can lift up to a 250-pound silhouettes in approximately 4 seconds. The SAT offers the same hit sensing capabilities as our standard Stationary Infantry Target (SIT). The SAT can be driven with either 120/240 VAC or 24 VDC as a battery/solar powered option.
SSI’s SAT utilizes a fully cast aluminum frame and aluminum skin weldment. The unit is controlled by a DC motor and chain drives the Silhouette. The SATs electrical connectors, switches and arm bearings are water sealed to handle environmental conditions.
